Q: Where is your Dong Chong Xia Cao/cordyceps mushroom from?
A: Qinghai Province (Western China). It is also harvested from other provinces such as Gansu, Yunnan, Sichuan, and Tibet. Some feel the Tibetan product is best, but there has not been research to support that. Cordyceps are harvested from the wild in July. As it is very expensive, and there are fakes and other quality problems, many people are using Cordyceps Biomass instead.
