Bi Zheng (Painful obstruction syndrome, arthritis) due to wind, cold and dampness. Exterior pathogens obstruct the normal circulation of qi and blood leading to pain and spasms of the affected area. It is most effective int he upper body.

Cautions and Contraindications
  • Qiang is contraindicated for people having febrile disorders, yin deficiency or muscle aches and pains caused by blood deficiency

Overdose may injure the Stomach and cause nausea and vomiting. This may be alleviated by decreasing the dosage or taking it with herbs that harmonize the Stomach such as Red Date or Ginger.
