Primary Traditional Functions Nourishes Yin and Moistens the Lungs Pathogenic dryness attacking the lung may result in symptoms of dry mouth, dry throat, dry cough with no sputum or scanty difficult to expectorate sputum. Sometimes hemoptysis or blood streaked sputum may be present
- Heat and dryness in the Lung from dyspnea, dry cough, chest fullness and pain

Cautions & Contraindications
- Contraindicated for clients with coughing caused by wind-cold or damp phlegm accumulation
- Contraindicated for clients with diarrhea from cold and deficiency of the middle jiao
