Jing Jie has a mild action. Although it is acrid, it doesn't damage the yin and although it is warm it is not frying. Jing Jie is commonly used for dispelling wind-cold or wind-heat from the exterior.

Typical Usage of Concentrated Extract

Cautions & Contraindications

• Jing Jie is contraindicated if perspiration is not from wind such as defensive qi deficiency or yin deficient heat
• Jing Jie in contraindicated when measles are fully erupted or there are open sores
• When taking Jing Jie these foods should be avoided fish, crab, goose and duck so as not to increase skin itching
