It is usually combined with herbs such as WhiteAtractylodes and Poria for this purpose. Lotus seed has Spirit Stabilizing properties. It is therefore combined withother Spirit stabilizers to calm the mind and to help overcome emotions suchas chronic worry, fear, anger, etc. It is usually combined with Dragon Bone,Polygonum stem, Albizzia bark or flower, Biota, etc. for this purpose.
