Male Silk Moth

Male silk moth extract has a long history in China of being used as a male marital tonic. Rich in unique proteins and male hormones, male silk moth is conducive to the normal growth of the body, and the formation and evolution of the male reproductive organs. It is used to nourish the Kidney, accelerate the growth of sperm and marrow and stimulate the nervous system. Male silk moth is considered in Asia to be an extremely potent male marital stimulant and tonic.

Even though silkworms are abundant in China, the moth that can be usedfor this tonic is rare. The male silk moths must be separated one by one from the females. Only the male silk moths can be used as an "herb" because it is the male marital hormones that are desired. Within minutes of escaping from the cocoon, the male silk moths are separated from the females. This must be done before the moths have an opportunity to copulate because once the male moth has copulated, it is no longer useful as a marital hormone donor. The male moth is then dried or preserved in alcohol and later extracted by a special process to isolate the active substances.

Male silk moth tonic formulations are invariably very powerful. The moth extract is usually mixed with other powerful Kidney Yang tonics such as Deer Antler, Gecko, Cordyceps, Morinda, Epimedium, etc. and with Qi tonics such as Ginseng, Astragalus and Siberian Ginseng. Silk moth is rarely available in America in bulk form. However, Ron Teeguarden’s HerbGarden offers a number of extremely interesting products Male Silk Moth products.
