I grew up learning somewhat about natural health from my Mom & Dad. When I moved out on my own, I bought only the healthiest foods I knew - fresh foods such as fruits, vegetables, etc. with nothing in boxes, cans or frozen. What I thought was good health greatly improved and I began studying natural health in depth at the age of 18, changing over to an 80% Live Foods Diet and sharing my knowledge and experiences with others willing to change their eating to regain their health. Upon moving to Florida in 1989, I began experiencing an unusual amount of health problems and such severe Candida as a result I nearly died several times in the first year. After careful studying and several months previous finding a doctor that was open to natural remedies, we isolated a test to find the cause - it turned out I had been being poisoned with Arsenic for 11 months! Herbs were used to eliminate the poison from my body and the long road to healing began. While I was married I returned to a mostly processed food diet. Although most of us know things such as sugar, white flour, caffeine and chemical additives are drugs and effect the body in adverse ways, the mostly processed food diet was doing the same thing! And all these so-called foods had the SAME EFFECT ON MY BODY AS THE ARSENIC, BUT AT A SLOWER RATE!!! That is why at Alive & Well we promote a 100% Live Food Program with as much organic as possible. As a result of prayer, eating all live food, (also taught in "Healing with Whole Foods" by Paul Pitchford), exercise, friendly bacteria , bee products , Chinese herbs , use of essential oils and massage and electromagnetic testing I have been healed of many of the ailments I had following the arsenic poisoning. ALL were SEVERE level health problems, many occurring at the SAME time. They are as follows: uterine cancer, severely blocked sinuses, wearing glasses did not help my eyes anymore, multiple ear problems including tinnitus, fatigue, almost constant chronic nausea, allergies (allergic to almost anything I ate and anyplace I went including my home), sensitive teeth, cystitis, headaches (never had them before in my life!), peculiar body rashes, obesity, extreme hair loss, excessive body odor, wrinkles, no strength (lived 1/2 my life in bed), congestion, candida , irregular body temperatures, poor memory, acne, anemia, periodic inability to walk because of arthritis in my knees & back, daily chiropractic treatments, bladder trouble, anger and irritability, ears ringing, hypoglycemia, menstrual cramps, decay of bones and teeth, indigestion, dizziness, toxemia, after eating tiredness, slow body healing, sore nipples from breastfeeding, breast cancer, jaundice, dental plaque, taking excessive vitamins, morning sickness and other unnecessary pregnancy problems, arthritis, pinched nerves, bleeding gums, varicose veins, irregular heartbeat, water retention, athlete's feet, toe and fingernail fungus, colitis and other chronic colon problem. A lot of this was all at the ripe old age of 30. Most of these health problems have left me and the rest continue to reverse more and more as a result of changing what I eat. At 30 I felt like I knew what is was like to be 90 and now I feel like I am in my late 20's again. Just imagine what can happen to someone who has not been poisoned!

I would like to point out that miraculously during the time I experienced all the health problems and long recovery time I never became depressed. (I also had a rude awakening to formaldehyde toxicity in 1999 and experienced many of the same things I did with arsenic poisoning.) I knew my Hope was and still is in Yahweh, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and the Joy of the Lord is my strength. With joy there was no room for depression. I wasn't happy about what I was going through, but I knew that all things work together for good to those who love Yahweh and are called according to His purpose and I figured if Jesus was willing to die for me to spend eternity with Him in heaven, surely He would help me get through this and learn a bunch as I go.

I have seen or heard of friends, family and others eliminate gray hair, fungus, colic, menopausal symptoms, insanity and suicidal tendencies, all childhood diseases, diaper rash, nightmares, nervousness, sciatica, sexual diseases, AIDS, cancers, diabetes, high blood pressure, emphysema, leukemia, cancerous tumors and ulcers just to name a few.

I bet there a lot of people that would love to see photos of me when I had all these health problems. Well sorry to disappoint you, but I did not want anyone to see what I looked like when I had all these problems, so I had none taken! I do not want to take away from anyone's credibility, but I for one cannot see how other people were so eager to have their picture taken sometimes years in advance, to post on the internet now to sell a "cure all" supplement that costs way more than should be spent on good health (drugs included). I do not promote any cure all supplements. I merely would like people to learn to improve the quality of their food and eliminate the junk food that causes all the diseases. It may not happen overnight like some of these supplements claim to work, but you will have a lasting result. And I don't have to have a money back guarantee because I am not selling you a supplement. just sharing a different way of eating from what a majority of us have been taught!

Difference Between Live Foods & Dead Foods

There are two kinds of foods - Live Foods and Dead Foods. Dead Foods are obtained by using inferior ingredients, over cooking and over processing. Eating too much dead food weakens the immune system allowing sickness to develop in an otherwise healthy body. When Live Foods are eaten this doesn't happen. Raw food is not necessarily Live - if grains , beans and seeds are Live, they are sprouted . Sprouted grains are made into bread in slow baked ovens with no yeast or in dehydrators. Grains also sprout some when slow cooked, take a look at them before you eat. We have had many foods tested that were steamed or baked without being overdone and as long as they were not over processed or bad ingredients added, the life force was stronger afterward than when raw. (Please do not confuse Alive & Well with Raw Foodists who promoted to us excessive colon cleansing and detoxing to the point of severe weakness, the over consumption of bottled oils, nuts, seeds and fruits, poor food combining along with eliminating drinking valuable herb teas. Eating this way leads to overheating the liver and draining the kidneys. Although the initial feeling may be good, in the long run it leads to severe imbalances in the body)

Some Benefits of Eating Organic Live Foods

Our body's insides become healthier as if we were still younger and it shows not only in our physical appearance but the way we feel as well -- increased energy and endurance, stronger immune system guarding against sickness and diseases as well as overall feeling better physically, mentally and spiritually. Also by purchasing organic foods in bulk and through the mail, preferably once a month or less often, we cut down on our financial expenses, save shopping time and can spend more quality time with our family or whatever our heart desires. We noticed but were amazed to see some neighbor children notice the difference . . . they have a baby sister 1 month younger than our daughter. Asher was born at home without western medical intervention and has been breast fed from the beginning and started on solid foods after 1 year of age that consist of only Live Foods. Their baby sister was born in a hospital and raised on soy formula and fed the typical commercial baby foods too soon and only eats Dead Food. The children were all playing together one day when Asher was 21-1/2 months of age and the young boys went to pick up Asher to put her in the stroller and they noticed immediately how soft her skin is as opposed to their sister's whose felt like a rubber doll! The boys went back and forth several times rubbing each of the girls' arms to compare.

People have asked us how much does it cost a person to be on a totally Live Food Diet. All we can answer is this: If a person still has to purchase produce from farmers and/or supermarkets instead of growing their own, in addition to all the main foods that are grown indoors that Alive & Well supplies the seeds and other necessities for , it averages $70-$75 a week. We also count this amount as our medical insurance and cost for doctors & prescriptions because we do not have those expenses like the majority of people do. The last time I was sick (other than the diagnosis of arsenic poisoning in 1989) was in the 6th grade when I had the flu. And I have not had medical insurance since 1980 nor have I needed it! We put our savings into a mutual fund. What better way do you know to become independently wealthy in 30 years and be healthy enough to enjoy it when you retire?

Shipping, Returns & Storage Information

To everyone reading this section: Please also read section below under "Methods of Ordering and Payment Options" .

Perishable food orders are shipped Monday-Wednesday. Y.S. Organic Bee Farm foods are generally shipped Monday-Wednesday using ice when neededduring warmer months. Fresh products #1a2-2D require 3 Day Select option from the drop down menu. Depending on your proximity and during cooler months we may ship fresh items on Thursday if delivery can be made before the weekend. Natren Probiotics are shipped 2nd Day Air with ice. Non-perishables, herbs and coconut oil are shipped Monday-Friday. Heavy items are sent UPS or FedEx, lighter items U.S. Priority Mail insured. Please allow enough time for your payments to clear and shipping time according to your zone. We are not responsible for orders that "do not arrive in time" because you were not available to receive it. Please be available to receive your order.

Less than Load Shipping Calculations - Due to gas prices causing highly fluctuating shipping charges on Pacific Rim Furniture items, we will email you if shipping is different than your shopping cart order shows . Upon your approval of the emailed quote, your order will be processed. Shipping quotes are good for 30 days only. Although it is rare, they may increase according to the changing fuel charges by the time of your shipment.

Ground Shipping Calculations - We have done our best to provide accurate shipping calculations to and from all parts of the lower 48 U.S. States. In the event an incorrect shipping zone is selected by our customer while placing an order, we reserve the right to adjust that shipping charge and order total at the time of processing your order so as to not cause any delay in shipment. To prevent any surprises to you, please read all shipping zone selection instructions carefully when placing your order. If you have selected a higher shipping charge than necessar we will adjust it down to the correct shipping calculation.

Customer Pick-up option on furniture and home furnishings - Please specify in comments box that you wish to pick up so we may waive shipping charges and notify you how to schedule your pick-up.

Dye Lots - Due the nature of dye lots, we do not guarantee reorders will match prior orders nor do we accept returns on these special orders. Please order enough yarn for your project when placing your first order.

Claims - Examine packages upon receipt. Report all damages to the driver. File damage(s) claim against carrier. Keep original container for inspection.

Exchange Policy - Complaints must be made within 10 days of receipt of package(s). No exchanges will be allowed without inspection. Do not return goods without prior authorization. Except for damaged or defective goods claimed within this time period, all sales are final. Since many of our items are customized to your taste and/or food items, once an order has been processed, it cannot be changed and is subject to 25% restocking fees. Return shipping is to be paid by the customer. Initial shipping charges are also not refundable.

All drop ship merchandise is to be handled in the same manner as stated above, and we must be notified as well. If a customer returns undamaged, drop shipped merchandise to the manufacturer without prior authorization by Alive & Well and the manufacturer accepts the merchandise, ALL initial shipping charges, restocking fees and return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer. You will only receive a credit to use at the same web store you originally purchased at.

International Orders - Due to International regulations from Visa/Mastercard we only accept Western Union payments from new International Customers. Please make payments to Patricia Zangari, owner of Alive & Well, 2127 Oak Street, Bunnell, FL 32110 USA. Until further notice, customers we have shipped to in 2005 and prior years will still be able to pay as in the past. Orders are shipped post office Global Express insured unless other arrangements are made. All import and customs fees, duties, taxes, etc. are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Fraudulent transactions are defined as the following:
(1) Whether by fraudulent credit card use
(2) Ordering merchandise and charging merchandise back to the credit card without returning it
(3) Charging merchandise back to the credit card if it has been shipped and delivery is confirmed by the shipper,
(4) Returning merchandise damaged (when a claim should have been filed with the shipper)
(5) Chargebacks because "you found it on another web site for less money"
(6) Abandoning international shipments because you "don't feel like paying customs duties and taxes" resulting in return to us or manufacturer. These orders are subject to restocking fees and customer shipping both ways as stated above.
(7) Any unauthorized returns, fraudulent transactions and the like will result in prosecution to the fullest extent of the law. It will also result in a public post to our web site in the form of a "Customer's Bad Feedback", similar to the procedures on auctions.

Customers receiving merchandise at a discount and/or free sample(s) who charge back the order amount to us will be subject to reimbursing us the discount(s) and the price of the free sample(s). and any other related fees When we are awarded the chargeback reversal you automatically authorize your bank to also credit us for the amount of your original merchandise and shipping discount(s) and free sample(s) and any other related fees. Example: Customer orders 5 Packs of ABC and gets a 10% discount in the amount of $15.00. We also send you free sample(s) valued at $20.00. Your shipping charge is ground $15.00 and we send by 2 or 3 day. You save an additional $15-30.00. Customer charges us back. We win the chargeback reversal. You owe us $45-60..00 because you have forfeited your product and shipping discount(s) and free sample(s). Customer also pays chargeback fee(s) our credit card processor charges us.

Storage - All foods must be kept cool or refrigerated. Our foods do not have preservatives and we are not responsible for damages due to improper storage. Many products may be frozen. Please supply a street address, as UPS will not deliver to a P.O. Box.

Please be aware that your credit card is not charged at the time of your shopping cart transaction, but are done manually. So if you have placed an order and Yeshuah returns before it can be processed, your card will not be charged.

Furniture and other home furnishings orders will be charged to your credit as follows:
Orders with lead time of 4 weeks or less, your total order will be charged at the time of order.
Orders with longer than 4-8 weeks lead time, 75% of your total will be charged at time of order and 25% upon shipment.
Orders with longer than 8 weeks lead time, 100% of your total will be charged at approximately 4-5 weeks before shipment.
Orders scheduled for customer pick-up, no matter what lead time is, will be charged in full when processing your order. Please specify in comments box that you wish to pick up so we may waive shipping charges and notify you how to schedule your pick-up.

Orders to the Trade are payable by Casher's Check or Certified business check, as well as the methods mentioned above, in full at time of order.

Right of Recision on furniture and home furnishings:
It has been our experience that the amount of time generally spent shopping on the internet for furniture and home furnishings is an average of 3 months or more and when someone places an order they have made up their mind. Therefore, when you place your order, you would like to waive your 3 Day Right of Recision and have your order processed as soon as we receive it.

All prices stated in the web mall are subject to change without notice. Due to circumstances beyond our control, manufacturers' prices change, sometimes without notice.
