Deficiency of lung qi causing shortness of breath or wheezing, chronic weak cough, frail constitution, tendency to flu and colds, accumulation of phlegm that is difficult to expectorate, spontaneous sweating, pale complexion, low voice and poor appetite. Useful in asthma and lung deficiency accompanying chronic illness.
